After a decade and a half of variations on austerity, it's possible something may be happening again for the whole concept of 'active travel' - walking, cycling, anything using human power to move around.
At the same time local government is being reorganised, and that has significant ramifications for Surrey County Council and Waverley District Council. At the time of writing it's uncertain what will happen. We hope that a cooperative venture like a cycle forum will be re-created.
